Aqua Teen Hunger Force Renewed for Season 9

Master Shake is back in “ASYKW”???

The Aqua Teens are back with their season premier May 20th,  on Adult Swim. Season 9 will contain 10 episodes.

In keeping with the previous season in which ATHF was renamed Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1, this season the show will be known as “Aqua Something You Know Whatever”.

“Every Character is Going to Die”

Matt Maiellaro recently revealed this snip of information during an interview with CBR. He went on to say:

“Eventually, every character is going to die off and we’re going to replace them with other characters. There’s also a cool twist on how we get our characters back. It’s going to be 12 episodes. By episode 3 of the 12, there’s going to be no more Aqua Teens, but we managed to fill it up with a lot of interesting characters. It’s super fun. We’ve been on the air now 12, 13 years. I think we beat out “M*A*S*H” [Laughs] We’re not running out of ideas — it’s fun to do, but it’s easy, too. Anything we throw at the wall sticks and we do it!”

It’s believed that the first episode of Season 9 of ‘ASYKW’ (doesn’t read the same does it) will be entitled “Circuit Attack” however this hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.
